Eine Meta-Ansicht...

Stefan Hegel wurde 1971 in Wuppertal geboren.

Für den aus Wuppertal stammenden Künstler Stefan Hegel sind Gemälde in ihrer praktischen Anwendungsform ein Mittel, sein Lebensumfeld qualitativ aufzuwerten.
Gemälde bieten und ermöglichen Gestaltungsraum, sind Ausdrucksmedium und
können zugleich durch Farben und Formen die Stimmung der Betrachter beeinflussen.

Die Kunstobjekte entstehen aus unterschiedlicher Motivation des Künstlers.
Die Technik und Entstehungsweise ist variabel, fast launisch. Mal werden Farben mit
einem Spachtel verarbeitet, mal mit klassischen Pinseln oder sonstigen greifbaren Utensilien. Aufgetragen in einer oder mehreren Schichten, ab und an unter teilweiser Verwendung von Strukturierungsmittel, werden Farben bis zur fast völligen Trockenheit verrieben – meistenteils fließen diese aber feucht-nass ineinander.

Farben und abstrakte Formen in gegenstandloser Malerei spielen in den
Kunstobjekten nach wie vor die Hauptrolle.
Der Künstler Hegel sieht Farben und Formen als Ursprung visueller Beeinflussung
und als eine Option zum zeitweisen entrinnen aus der Gegenwart in eine Welt der
Gedanken und Gefühle...
